Note: Below is information conveyed to me by the Seller who has loving maintained this home for over 60 years and which I believe buyers will find useful and interesting. “ I wish we had more time to discuss the quality of the renovations (not just the years they were done). For example, the "DriCore" subfloor in the basement has kept the floor warm, as well as dry; the maple kitchen cupboards, with the large pullout drawers are wonderful. Even after 13 years, I would not want anything more modern, if I was starting to renovate them now. There are many more examples throughout the house, e.g. the marble tiles in the front entrance, and even the large front entrance. Not many homes have one, Nor have the many homes that I have seen, while playing bridge in the Rideau Park Bridge Marathon for 30 years. The small "Inglenook" for the card table and the cupboard of games nearby, is another feature. Looking at the backyard, I forgot to mention that the middle tree in the back planter is a Magnolia tree that is covered with pink blooms in early May. To the left of it is a small pear tree and in the far right- hand corner there is an apple tree, Golden Delicious. It bears a great deal of fruit if it is properly sprayed, et in the early spring.
